I stayed for four days and never wanted to leave. Everything is s romantic there. The rooms are so cozy and antique. We stayed in two different rooms and no two are alike but they are all beautifully decorated. Our first room had a wicker swing outside the door on our patio, and our second room had a beautiful second floor view. There is a private garden with a hammock and some very beautiful flowers. Only a block away is a beach and there is a basket of mismatched towels on the patio that you are welcome to. I fell in love with this place and the people there and some day I'll return. At Monas suggestion we took the Card Sound Road on the way back to Miami and got to see more of the glades. What a wonderful place I would suggest to anyone. It is real Key West.

My 10 year daughter and I stayed at this guest house after leaving Key Largo which was not what I was expecting. I just happened to go into an information booth when I arrived in Key West, we had no were booked. It was so inexpensive and absolutely gorgeous and the staff were so helpful. I would definately recommend staying here and plan on staying again when I go back to Key West...Thumbs Up

This was the greatest find in Key West. Mona, the owner and all of her staff make you feel like family. Our room was beautiful and when we arrived they had put a teddy bear on each bed for my twin toddler boys. If you ever go to Key West you MUST stay with mona. Every morning she would greet me over breakfast. She constantly was aware of where my boys were and that they were safe and their needs were met. She gave us a beach umbrella to use on the beach. It was like being on vacation at home if that makes sense. Perfect~Pampered& Budget friendly. When everything in Key West is over priced...this was a bargain!

My family just spent a week at this wonderful historic guest house. Mona and the rest of the staff treated us like family and it was a very charming house. We brought our small dog with us and they made her feel as welcome as the rest of us. The staff was there anytime we needed anything and they had a great continental breakfast every morning. They provided beach towels and chairs and a wonderful, peaceful place to relax once we were all done with our daily festivities in the Keys. The house is far enough away from the downtown noise but is a close walk to all the action. Mona is a friendly, wonderful and very accomodating hostess. On our return to Key West, this inn will be our first choice. We stayed in the suite on the second floor that faces Duval. Definitely worth it!

We stayed for 2 weeks in July/August 2004. Although located in the quieter part of Duval, everything was just a short stroll away. Staff were very friendly and helpful as were the guests. We met some really great people. The rooms were finished with that little personal touch that I haven't found in a guest house before. As "Arnie" would say........."I'll be back." And if you're travelling to Key West, The Southernmost Point Guest House is definately worth a thought. Its in the 'quiet' section of Duval...and that's fine with us. We take 2 or 3 walks a day to the noisier end of Duval. We visited the Southern Most Point Guest House the week hurricain Charley approached South Florida and had to evac. to higher ground. Mona was more than helpful to help us return to her beautiful place the very next week. The location is perfect, close enough to enjoy the night life, but far away enough to get some sleep at night. They also welcome pets so my dog gets to come and she loves it. There is no other place even close to this special place. I give it 4 stars. Thanks to all at the Guest House we'll be back very soon.

My sister & I went to Key West in Nov. We stayed @ the Southernmost Point Guest House & loved it! It's away from the crowds & noise, so if you want peace & quiet you can have it. But it's still on Duval St. So, it's very convenient to the hot spots & makes for a great walk. Something my sister & I did every day. You just don't need a car in Key West which is also great. The porch has views of the ocean. There's a beach across the street with a restaurant that will serve you food if you just want to sit there all day & read & get waited on! That's the life! In fact, we enjoyed the place so much that I've just booked another trip for me & my husband this spring. My sister & I plan to go again in the fall. On a last note, you'll LOVE Mona- she really adds to the color & charm of this place.

My visit to Key West was my first and hopefully not my last. We had booked 2 nights at a name brand hotel, and while visiting the southern most point area of town we thought what the heck we would stay another night and seen the Southern Most Point Guest House, walked in and asked if theyhad a room. The only room left was their tiniest room, but the price was right so we gave it a try. Being my first time ever trying a guest house as I normally only go to the name-brand hotels I was very very very impressed. I spent lots of time on the huge hammock in the yard and time on the swings. Our room was very clean, the staff was very friendly. Breakfast on the front porch was the best! I would recommend this place for sure. We were able to walk to town in about 15 minutes to see the famous sunset. We were also allowed to use the huge pool and beach facilities at the guest house across the street so that was another bonus. If anyone has questions do not hesitate to drop me a line.
