We have stayed at the Gato House 3 times and will spend our 4th this New Years. It is a fabulous facility with old charm and a great location. The staff make you feel like "family". It's convenient yet away from the bustle. For a relaxing, convenient location there can be none better.

We stayed for 2 weeks in July/August 2004. Although located in the quieter part of Duval, everything was just a short stroll away. Staff were very friendly and helpful as were the guests. We met some really great people. The rooms were finished with that little personal touch that I haven't found in a guest house before. As "Arnie" would say........."I'll be back." And if you're travelling to Key West, The Southernmost Point Guest House is definately worth a thought. Many thanks to Mona, family and staff for what has been one of my most memorable holidays ever!

It is perfectly located to enjoy the quiet end of the island, but a short walk to all of the excitement Key West offers. The staff was absolutely wonderful. We've been guests 2 or 3 times each year for the past 4 years. Your place is always our #1 choice in Key West. Your guest house is so quaint and relaxing, and we recommend it to all of our friends. Its in the 'quiet' section of Duval...and that's fine with us. We take 2 or 3 walks a day to the noisier end of Duval. (its nice to visit,but its even better to come home to your guest house) See you December 8th !!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the Southernmost Point Guest House. It was relaxing and friendly. The breakfast each morning was a treat and alot of items to chose from. The four days and three nights we stayed were great. We would recommend this place to anyone. The view of the ocean, the swings, the yard with all the tree and plants. It is really hard to descript the beauty and peacefullness of the Southernmost Point Guest House. Thank you Mona for having such a place to stay at while in Key West.

We visited the Southern Most Point Guest House the week hurricain Charley approached South Florida and had to evac. to higher ground. Mona was more than helpful to help us return to her beautiful place the very next week. The location is perfect, close enough to enjoy the night life, but far away enough to get some sleep at night. They also welcome pets so my dog gets to come and she loves it. There is no other place even close to this special place. I give it 4 stars. Thanks to all at the Guest House we'll be back very soon.

I was looking for a small peice of heaven and keywest and received both. Everyone was helpful and always willing to go the extra mile to make everything perfect. It is close to the main attractions but far enought that it makes for a perfect relaxing atmosphere. I would not stay anywhere but here in key west. I too was refered by another client who adores this place as much as we did. Mona you and your family are every bit as wonderful and some of the best people we could have asked for. Your guest house is the absolute loveliest of all! I can't imagine staying anywhere else in Key West. Every room is quaint in its own charming way. From the fresh cut flowers in your room, the chocolates on your pillow, the breakfast on the porch and the friendly smile greeting you at the door, the Southernmost Point Guest House is a Key West "must see" in itself. I've stayed at the Southernmost Point Guest House twice and must say it is the most wonderful place to stay in Key West. Mona and family give you the utmost in personal attention in their beautiful sumptuous home. My sister & I went to Key West in Nov. We stayed @ the Southernmost Point Guest House & loved it! It's away from the crowds & noise, so if you want peace & quiet you can have it. But it's still on Duval St. So, it's very convenient to the hot spots & makes for a great walk. Something my sister & I did every day. You just don't need a car in Key West which is also great. The porch has views of the ocean. There's a beach across the street with a restaurant that will serve you food if you just want to sit there all day & read & get waited on! That's the life! In fact, we enjoyed the place so much that I've just booked another trip for me & my husband this spring. My sister & I plan to go again in the fall. On a last note, you'll LOVE Mona- she really adds to the color & charm of this place.

My visit to Key West was my first and hopefully not my last. We had booked 2 nights at a name brand hotel, and while visiting the southern most point area of town we thought what the heck we would stay another night and seen the Southern Most Point Guest House, walked in and asked if theyhad a room. The only room left was their tiniest room, but the price was right so we gave it a try. Being my first time ever trying a guest house as I normally only go to the name-brand hotels I was very very very impressed. I spent lots of time on the huge hammock in the yard and time on the swings. Our room was very clean, the staff was very friendly. Breakfast on the front porch was the best! I would recommend this place for sure. We were able to walk to town in about 15 minutes to see the famous sunset. We were also allowed to use the huge pool and beach facilities at the guest house across the street so that was another bonus. If anyone has questions do not hesitate to drop me a line.
